What makes each tool different
Recall.ai
Recall.ai is the leading meeting bot infrastructure provider, processing 3+ TB/sec of raw video and launching 8M+ EC2 instances monthly. Over 3,000 companies use it, including HubSpot, ClickUp, Monday.com, and Instacart. They also offer a Desktop Recording SDK for botless capture and interactive agents that can speak inside meetings.
Nylas Notetaker
Nylas Notetaker is a newer addition to the Nylas platform, which thousands of developers already use for email and calendar APIs. The main draw is bundling: if you already use Nylas for calendar sync, adding recording is one API call away. Transcription is powered by AssemblyAI. The trade-off is fewer platform integrations and less mature real-time features compared to Recall.ai.
