About meetingstack

Most meeting tool comparisons are written by the vendors selling them. We thought that was a problem.

meetingstack is an independent research site. We test, compare, and benchmark the tools teams use to meet, record, schedule, and collaborate. The site started because we spent two months picking a notetaker for our own team and couldn't find a single unbiased comparison. So we built the resource we wished existed.

Who this is for

Ops leads, IT buyers, and product teams evaluating meeting infrastructure. If you're choosing between notetakers, comparing recording APIs, or rebuilding your team's meeting stack, this site is built for you.

How we test

Each tool gets a minimum two-week evaluation using real meeting recordings across multiple use cases: sales calls, engineering standups, client workshops. We test transcription accuracy against ground-truth transcripts, measure latency, check integration depth with major platforms, and verify pricing against what vendors actually charge at checkout.

Rankings use a weighted score across accuracy, pricing, integrations, and user experience. We publish our criteria on each category page so you can see exactly how scores break down. Every review page shows a "last verified" date so you know what you're reading is current.

Where the money comes from

Some links on this site are affiliate links, always labeled. When you sign up for a tool through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Sponsored content (also labeled) and research partnerships support the site too. We also partner with companies to produce technical content for their own properties, covering the same meeting infrastructure topics we write about here.

No vendor has editorial control over our content. Affiliate relationships never influence rankings. If we get something wrong, we correct it openly.
