What makes Attendee different
Attendee is a meeting bot API whose full source code is public on GitHub under the Elastic License 2.0. It runs as a Django app in a single Docker image with Postgres and Redis, so teams can self-host it, while the hosted service charges $0.50 per hour after five free hours. Transcription runs through a third-party provider such as Deepgram on your own API key, billed by that provider, or through the meeting platform's closed captions at no extra cost.
