Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect as little data as possible. We use two analytics tools: PostHog, which sets no cookies, and Google Analytics, which does. We don't sell your information. If you never give us your email, we know almost nothing about you.

What we collect

Newsletter subscribers: If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address. That's it. We use Resend to send emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, and we will delete your address.

Analytics: We use PostHog to count page views, page exits and referral sources. PostHog runs without cookies or local storage, so it cannot recognise you on your next visit, and we have it drop your IP address. It does not load if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

We also use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell returning visitors apart, and Google processes that data on its own servers.

Cookies

The only cookies on this site come from Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_*). We set no other first-party cookies and run no advertising pixels. You can block Google Analytics with any content blocker or Google's opt-out browser add-on; the site works the same without it.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run this site:

  • Vercel hosts the site. Vercel may log IP addresses and request metadata in server logs. See Vercel's privacy policy.
  • PostHog provides cookieless page analytics, hosted in the US. See PostHog's privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager provide visit analytics using cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Resend sends our newsletter emails. They process subscriber email addresses on our behalf. See Resend's privacy policy.
  • logo.dev serves company logos used in our reviews and tool pages. These requests go through their CDN. See logo.dev.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site may be affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and visit the destination site, that site may set its own cookies and track your visit according to its own privacy policy. We have no control over what happens after you leave meetingstack.io. We will always be transparent about which links are affiliate links.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access any personal data we hold about you (for newsletter subscribers, this is your email address)
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for email communications at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Since we collect so little data, most of these rights are straightforward. Unsubscribe from the newsletter, and we delete your email. That's the only personal data we hold ourselves; Google Analytics data sits with Google.

Data retention

Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. PostHog page data carries no cookie or stored identifier, so it cannot be tied back to you. Google Analytics keeps its data under Google's retention settings for this site.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. For significant changes, we will note it in our newsletter.
