What makes Veritas different
Veritas no longer exists as one platform. Cohesity completed its combination with Veritas' enterprise data protection business on December 10, 2024, and veritas.com now redirects to cohesity.com. The Data Compliance business, including the Merge1 communications capture product, went to a separate company now called Arctera; veritas.com/merge1 redirects to arctera.io/capture. Merge1 was marketed as capturing 80+ communication channels for compliance archiving.
